Born in Phoenix, AZ, Scott Taylor lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. He received a Master’s Degree in Painting from Rutgers University (2002) and a bachelor’s degree from Savannah College of Art and Design (1998). His solo exhibitions were held at Sam Lee Gallery (Los Angeles), V & A Gallery (New York), and Jersey City Museum (New Jersey); his paintings have been in selected group exhibitions that include The Center For Book Arts (New York), Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (San Francisco), Contemporary Art Center (Cincinnati, Ohio), and most recently The Skid Row Museum (Los Angeles). Scott Taylor continues to paint his on-going series “Abstractions” in his downtown studio.
