Artist Statement

Collage by its nature aptly reflects the multifaceted and illusive nature of existence, where disparate elements are thrust together to create a more nuanced and complex portrayal of the world and its shifting contexts.

I intentionally exaggerate these aspects to invite the viewer to question their own perceptions and delve deeper into the ambiguous 'image' presented. There are no stories being told, just fragments of incomplete visual information that clamor for attention within the cobbled-together whole. There is a seeming attempt at a semblance of order, the appearance of something being contained, but ultimately it’s only a labyrinth of inconclusiveness leading further into the mystery.
