Experiments and art projects will make for a fun and engaging week. We will make some of our own art materials, use art to record what we observe, design, build and have a fun time doing it all. We will learn fun facts and hear stories about the artist, the techniques they used and about the period of time they lived in. Each days art projects will be inspired by a different famous artist. Most importantly we will have fun learning with lots of creating! Projects will include a variety of techniques and materials including painting, sculpture, drawing and more. Vita Art Center's Art Academy is a hands on creative studio environment that teaches the fundamentals of art and the development of each student's artistic skills, expression, style and visual vocabulary. The program will help students develop core skills and a strong foundation to build their artistic talents on.
